A hotfix is available if you are seeing the following symptoms :

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007, you experience the following symptoms if you use the Web Application management pack template to monitor a Web site that is secured by using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol:

• The SSL Certificate Expired monitor displays a healthy status even if the certificate that the Web site uses has expired.

• The Certificate CN Invalid monitor displays a healthy status even if a common name of the certificate is not valid.

• In Health Explorer, Certificate CN Invalid incorrectly appears as the display name for the Untrusted CA monitor. In this situation, two Certificate CN Invalid monitors appear under the SSL Monitoring node. However, one of these monitors displays a description for the Untrusted CA monitor.
