Available for pre-order: Windows Performance Analysis Field Guide

Yay! After over a year in development, my book, the “Windows Performance Analysis Field Guide”, is available for pre-order!

$37.46 at http://store.elsevier.com/product.jsp?isbn=9780124167018&_requestid=465338

$45.42 (Prime discount) at http://www.amazon.com/dp/0124167012/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=12JDCG3UP69SD&coliid=I2TOVTYHI6HDHC

I certainly don’t know everything about Windows performance analysis (no one ever will), so *many* of my friends and colleagues are named in the book as people who have helped me along the way.

A special thanks to Microsoft Premier Field Engineering (PFE), Jeff Stokes, Yong Rhee, Ed Wilson, and Mario Hewardt for helping to make this book possible.

Congrats on getting this done and out there. I’ve ordered mine. I also put a post on my Priceless Geek blog (6000 visitors monthly) as well as put out a blast to my social media networks of around 2000 people. Hopefully, everyone buys a copy. Will you
sign mine before you get too famous? I also second the request for kindle and/or ipad versions.

I understand this is a year old post. But PAL is a great tool and I searched high and low to check whether there is already a version that incorporates the VM counters ie. VM Memory, VM Processor, etc?

    1. Yes, PAL has three VMWare related threshold files. Just get the latest version at http://pal.codeplex.com.
