Bytes by TechNet interview with Mike Crowley–Exchange and Office 365….
A couple months back, I attended the Windows Connections conference in Las Vegas. I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing some great IT Folks while I was there. One of those is Mike Crowley, Technical Team Lead for Planet Technologies, Inc. Mike is an Exchange and Office 365 expert and we spent some time talking about planning for and migrating mailboxes from on-premise to the cloud. Mike provides some real life experience about performing these migrations at a university and the challenges of keeping people connected while the migration takes place. We also briefly discuss the challenges of granting access with non-Windows devices like iPhones, iPdas, Android devices and other mobile platforms.

Mike Crowley is a Technical Team Lead on infrastructure technologies for Planet Technologies, Inc. as well as a Technical Instructor for Academy of Computer Education. Passionate about his field, Mike has taken advantage of many industry certifications. As such, he holds numerous credentials from Microsoft Certified Trainer to several MCITP competencies. Mike is also a Microsoft MVP award winner for Exchange Server.
In the past 10 years, Mike has architected and implemented many Microsoft-based solutions, largely centered on messaging and directory services. Mike has led projects from 100k seat Exchange Server deployments, to cloud services migrations to complete infrastructure overhauls across government and private sectors as well as education.
