WNUG meeting this Wednesday! (Free Food)

This Wednesday, Jun 6th 2012, we will have our monthly Windows Networking User Group Meeting at Lincoln Square in downtown Bellevue, WA.

Zubair Alexander of SeattlePro Enterprises will be the speaker at the June meeting. He will talk about the new features in Windows Server 2012 Beta, formerly known as Windows Server 8 Beta. The title of his presentation is "What’s New in Windows Server 2012 Beta?"

Some of the topics that will be included in his presentation are the new Windows Server 2012 interface and how to navigate around, the new features in Server Manager, including the Server Manager Dashboard, storage spaces, and server groups.

Will Windows Server 2012 live up to its hype? Will it be the VMware killer as some experts have suggested? Find out for yourself. The list of new features in Windows Server 2012 is mind boggling. Zubair will give you an overview of some of the exciting new features in Windows Server 2012 related to Virtualization, File System, RDP, SMB Support, Security Auditing, BitLocker, Smart Cards, Active Directory Domain Services and much more. He will also talk about the Data De-duplication feature which can reduce 1TB of data on your server down to only 50GB.
