Looking for some feedback from the IT Pro Community…..

Good Day Folks!

I have been with Microsoft for a long time – 13 years and counting – and I have had a lot of conversations with customers in those years. One of the things I have tried to do in my time at Microsoft is keep my finger on the pulse of customer satisfaction. I am a big fan of talking to people directly and asking them how they feel about and how satisfied Microsoft, our products and our technologies. The down side to this approach is that my sample size is limited in number, limited to the geographies I get to visit, and limited by my own idea of what questions to ask of customers.

This has been a recent topic of discussion amongst my peers and there has been some brainstorming around how to reach out to our IT Pro community and solicit feedback. Sure, there are surveys that are executed by our corporate folks, but I have to admit that I don’t think they always ask the right questions.

That said, one of my IT Evangelist buddies, Harold Wong (he is based in Phoenix and works with the IT Pro communities in Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and Southern California), put together a Survey Monkey survey, with 3 questions for IT Pros that I would like for you to check out. We are looking for feedback on how you feel about doing business with Microsoft and ask that you please take a few minutes to do the short survey. I also ask that you let your IT Pro peers know about the short survey and forward them the link so we can get as much feedback as possible.

As Harold notes on his blog, we will be taking this feedback to our managers, their managers, their managers and on up to the VP level to ensure your voice is heard and your thoughts are communicated directly to our leadership.

Please check out Harold’s blog post which contains a link to the survey, and thank you in advance for your time and feedback!

Cheers!
