Deploying Windows 7 to Microsoft – Using User-driven install Whitepaper Released

The IT Showcase team at Microsoft who aims at sharing how Microsoft uses their own technology to deliver IT to 280,000 clients world-wide.  Our team built the technology that previously wasn’t available as part of Configuration Manager 2007, and luckily, that technology was recently integrated into the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2010 Update 1.  What this means for you Configuration Manager 2007 customers is you can use the very same technology utilized to deliver pre-release versions of Windows 7.  It continues to deliver Windows 7 released versions as we speak.
