JA.... es war "nur" ein 1. April Scherz 

 

Durch unser internes IT Pro Advisor Info Netzwerk habe ich vom folgenden Spezial Announcement gehört: Dieses Projekt hat über die letzten 12 Jahre (!!!!) vor sich hin geköchelt, anscheinend so gut geheim gehalten, dass niemand mehr davon Notiz nahm. Unglaublich diese Vision -- vor 12 Jahren war die Mobile Technologie noch in einem Stadium, wo Mobil Telefone in der Grösse von Backsteinen waren (...) und Bill Gates in eine Firma investierte die Teledisc hiess:

"Einer unserer ITPRO Technologieberatern aus den USA", Michael J. Murphy, hat mehr Informationen über diese Technologie von einem news clip von 1995.  Was wirklich unglaublich cool ist bei dieser Technologie mit dem Namen Windows Rally: Rally ist ein Set von Technologie, welche ermöglicht (Zitat: "network-connected devices with an architecture that enables effortless setup, more secure and manageable connectivity to other devices and computers, and rich end-user experiences."). So was ist die Story dahinter? Genau weiss ich es auch noch nicht, einer unserer amerikanischen ITPROs, Michael J. Murphy hat mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht -- hier sein Blog Eintrag

OK, so I've heard through the world wide IT Pro Advisor network about the special announcement we will be making.  To give you an idea of how long this project has been in the works, it has take over 12 years to get to this stage.  Cell phones where the size of bricks and Bill Gates invested in a company called Teledisc. 

One of the IT Pro Advisors in the US, Michael J. Murphy, has posted some more information about this technology from a news clip from 1995.  What is really cool is a new technology called Windows Rally.  Rally is a set of technologies that allow "network-connected devices with an architecture that enables effortless setup, more secure and manageable connectivity to other devices and computers, and rich end-user experiences."
