Ist "BI" für Sie kein Fremdwort oder unbekanntes Akronym? Business Intelligence ist mehr als "nur" ein weiterer vertikaler und isolierter Tool Approach. BI wird zur matchentscheidenden und strategischen Plattform Fähigkeit. Microsoft hat in den vergangenen Jahren sehr viel in diese Plattform Fähigkeit investiert und bietet mit SQL Server 2005, Office 2005 (client und server) und den kommenden Office PerformancePoint Server eine sehr mächtige Plattform. Die Hauptvorteile des Microsoft Ansatzes liegen denn auch in der konsequenten Umsetzung unserer Kern-Stärken: Commodity, Client, Usability. Diese werden auf Basis von offenen Standards in höchstem Masse mit den serverseitigen Komponenten integriert. Natürlich ist es selbstredend, dass die Integration und Interoperabilität gerade im BI-Umfeld sehr zentral und wichtig ist, deshalb gibt es auch namhafte Kooperationen (wie z.B. mit SAP, Teradata, Hyperion u.a.).

Business Intelligence Conference!

Inaugural event to be held in Seattle at the Washington State Convention

and Trade Center from May 9-11, 2007.

The first-ever Microsoft Business Intelligence Conference 2007 will showcase Microsoft’s market-leading BI products, solution expertise and customer successes and will feature keynote addresses by Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, Jeff Raikes, President, Microsoft Business Division, and Ted Kummert, Corporate Vice President of Data and Storage Platforms Division.

The Conference is designed to educate you, our customers and partners, on every aspect of Microsoft’s BI offering. You can also expect educational tracks, an entire track dedicated to customer best practices sessions, the first-ever Microsoft BI Awards presentation, hands-on labs, peer networking opportunities and much more! We are dedicating an entire track to customer presentations at the Conference! For those of you with a story to tell about your use of Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions, we encourage you to submit your idea for a possible session in the Customer Track at the Conference today!
