Hyper-V 2012 Management Pack Extensions

Hello Virtual community!

Today I am happy to announce the release of the Hyper-V Management Pack Extensions for Hyper-V 2012. The current release is on beta and waiting for your feedback. We did all the possible test in some environments but now is time to see how it behaves on bigger environments.

This Management Pack is the evolution of the first version we released more than one year ago for Hyper-V 2008 R2 http://hypervmpe.codeplex.com  and I hope you find it useful like the first one.

We published the binaries for 2012 on Codeplex as a new project together with the documentation. You can download it from here: http://hypervmpe2012.codeplex.com

I want to give an special recognition to Diego Martinez Rellan. An SCOM guru who made this project a reality.

New features in this release:
VMs Integration Services Version monitor
Hyper-V Replica Health Monitoring Dashboard and States
SMB Shares I/O latency monitor

    Thank you for the blog!

Please suggest how can we get the historical data for the Hyper-V counters from the Reporting tab in SCOM 2012 console.

I have installed HYper-v MPE 2012 in our prod environment. I have imported Hyper-V MPE 2012/2012R2 and Hyper-V MPE 2012/2012R2 dashboard MPs. But I am not getting the separate tab to fetch the reports for HYper-V related counters. Do we have to pull it from
Windows Generic Reports? If Yes then please provide the filters. As I am unable to do so from Generic reports.
