The Young Innovators Competition (http://world2013.itu.int/event/innovation/) will close its application in 10 days (on June 30th). Remind any young men and women who might be interested to apply with their concept, for a chance to win up to USD 10 000 in prize money and great international exposure.
They are are looking for the next generation of social technopreneurs – young people aged between 18 and 26 with an inspirational ICT-based solution to developmental challenges. Ten winning finalists will be selected to attend the ITU Telecom World 2013 in Bangkok, taking part in workshops, pitching sessions, mentoring and networking, plus receiving seed funding of up to USD 10,000 per project. The ITU is the United Nations specialized agency governing and setting global standards in ICT with 193 country governments and over 700 global corporations/organizations as members.
