Igniting Careers
It’s never seems to be easy to find the time or justify the cost of career development training whether it’s for yourself or your team. It’s so easy to get absorbed in the day-to-day tasks that need your attention! However, without thinking about where you want to be tomorrow, today, you run the risk of getting stuck in a rut and having good opportunities pass you by.
A couple of years ago, we started producing web casts for IT professionals and developers specifically focused on developing and growing careers called Ignite Your Career. Participation costs you nothing but the time you invest.
Each webcast is a interactive experience, where questions from the live audience are submitted to the panel of topic experts for their discussion. In addition, the #IYC2009 hashtag is being used so anyone with a Twitter account can join in to the ongoing Twitter conversation. This particular series will start up in September and be co-hosted by Rick Claus from Microsoft Canada and Shane Schick from IT World Canada.
If you can’t make the live dates, each 1 hour recorded webcast will be condensed down to 20 minutes with the key messages summarized for on-demand viewing.
