In this session, we present an overview of the new and enhanced features of Windows Server code name "Longhorn." Learn how Windows Server "Longhorn" provides more control, greater flexibility, and increased protection, enabling IT professionals to spend less time managing their infrastructures and more time using the new features to add business value. We provide demonstrations of many of the product's new technologies, including Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) version 7.0, Server Core, the Active Directory directory service, Terminal Services, and Server Manager.

2. TechNet Webcast: Overview of Server Manager and PowerShell in Windows Server "Longhorn" (Level 300)

3. TechNet Webcast: Cluster Validation in Windows Server "Longhorn" (Level 300)   
In this webcast, we describe the new validation process for failover clusters in Windows Server code name "Longhorn". We explain how this process is different from validation of server clusters in Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition, and earlier versions of the operating system, which required that cluster hardware be selected from the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). The new validation process eliminates the need for the HCL, so hardware acquisition for clustered servers is simplified. Join us to learn more.
