A Good Thing–CobIT 4.0: Aligning IT with Business

Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (CobIT) 4.0, published by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) provides the much needed best practices and guidance to manage 34 processes for the “essential” tighter alignment and achievement of “business” and technology goals.

I have written about this before. IT governance must be represented at the executive and board level or it’s a bust for business. This is a definite improvement which will impact the current widespread invisibility of IT governance at senior levels. And I believe this version is a key factor in improving the situation with board-level representation of IT governance. This article touches on it’s importance.
