The Microsoft Academy for College Hires (MACH) Program is designed for University hires like you. This is a unique opportunity to join Microsoft and become a part of the two year program which focused on ensuring that you receive the professional development early to help you accelerate your impact in role and that you have the tools and knowledge to steer your long term career.

MACH roles can appear in different Microsoft business. Now we are looking for talented and passionate Technical Evangelist for our Developer and Platform Evangelism Department (DPE).

The DPE organization plays a pivotal role in driving adoption of current and emerging technologies from Microsoft.
DPE’s critical area of focus is to help businesses & technical influencers, developers, IT Pros, Independent Software Vendors/Cloud Software Vendors, and startups understand the technical strategy, competitive differentiation, and core value propositions of our platform technologies, including Windows, Windows Phone, Windows Azure, and Infrastructure, and to deliver on creating a sustainable applications ecosystem around each of these.

Currently DPE is responsible for application ecosystem development around new devices for consumers. Technical evangelist is the core member of the team to drive popular, high quality and diverse apps that will be used by millions of users around the globe.

Key responsibilities:

  • Use deep platform knowledge to influence top application partners to create compelling and differentiated experiences across the ecosystem of MS products;
  • Participate actively in the local developer and / or IT Pro community through blogs, newsletters, meetings and other activities;
  • Engage with neutral and competitive technology focused communities and influencers, while continuing to nurture our friendly base;
  • Work closely with the PAM-CSV and / or Audience Marketing Manager to execute on depth partner strategies as well as broad audience activities.

Basic requirements:

  • 2012 or 2013 graduate (Bachelor, Specialist or Master) preferably in computer science or related technical discipline;
  • Good programming skills; experience in creating mobile applications;
  • Excellent presentation skills to large, demanding technical audiences;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • A blend of passion, optimism, customer advocacy, curiosity and creativity.
