Released new version of SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA)

imageMicrosoft released the latest SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) 6.0 for Oracle/Sybase/MySQL, and Microsoft Access.

SSMA is a free tool that simplifies database migration process from Oracle/Sybase/MySQL and Microsoft Access to SQL Server and SQL Azure. SSMA automates all aspects of migration including migration assessment analysis, schema and SQL statement conversion, data migration as well as migration testing to reduce cost and reduce risk of your database migration project. 

 

SSMA version 6.0 for Oracle databases is bringing additional features such as automatically move Oracle tables into SQL Server 2014 In-Memory OLTP tables, the ability to process 10,000 Oracle objects in a single migration, and increase performance in database migration and report generation.
