Last week in Las Vegas at the Microsoft Management Summit 2012 (MMS2012) we launched our Private Cloud technologies, including System Center 2012. We know that many of you could not make it to Las Vegas for MMS2012, so we are bringing some of the best content from MMS to you at the Canadian Microsoft Private Cloud Launch Tour happening in 6 cities across the country – Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.

During the Microsoft Private Cloud Launch Tour you will learn how the Microsoft® Private Cloud can help you become a leader of tomorrow, today! The launch promises a day of in-depth technical training sessions, keynote speakers, industry expert panels, and product demos— including a preview of Windows Server® 2012. You’ll gain a solid understanding of how the Microsoft Private Cloud can help you reduce day-to-day infrastructure upkeep so you can focus on achieving your strategic objectives—and career goals. Don’t miss the Canadian Microsoft Private Cloud Launch. Space is extremely limited, so hurry and reserve your spot today. Register now!

Now we’re not done yet. We also understand that many of you want to get hands-on with Microsoft’s Private Cloud technologies. For that reason we are also coming to a city near you with Microsoft Private Cloud Boot Camp. The Private Cloud Boot Camp provides a full-day, hands-on experience where you will learn about these topics and more in a fun and collaborative environment:

  • Understand the System Center 2012 offering and Microsoft’s vision for Private Cloud
  • Configure System Center 2012 to manage a Private Cloud infrastructure
  • Create virtual machine and service templates to support the Private Cloud environment
  • Enable self-service allowing users to provision their infrastructure within established policies and service offerings
  • Monitor your Private Cloud infrastructure using System Center Operations Manager 2012
  • Automatically respond to critical incidents and remediate issues without human intervention
  • See how new functionality in Windows Server 2012 will provide additional capabilities to help take your Private Cloud to the next level

You can register now for the Private Cloud Boot Camp events in Mississauga (May 9 & May 10) and Vancouver (May 16 & May 17) events. Check back on this blog over the next few days for other dates and registration links for other cities.

It has been awhile since I have attended any Microsoft events.  I am really looking forward to this event.  I miss the local events that used to be held in locations such as Chnook Theater.  Please continue to have some local events.
