Talking to MVPs & Customers at MMS 2012– Brad Bird on System Center 2012 for all Hypervisors

mms2012This year I get the opportunity to connect with the sizeable contingent of customers, Partners and Microsoft Valued Professionals (MVPs) attending the Microsoft Management Summit 2012 (MMS 2012) in Las Vegas April 16-20. Each of the individuals I spoke to were very excited about what they will see and hear about Microsoft’s Private Cloud Platform, System Center 2012, as well as upcoming technologies like Windows Server 2012.

As MMS 2012 wound down I got a chance to touch base with Brad Bird, a Private Cloud and Data Center MVP from Cistel Technology and get his perspective on how System Center 2012 will enable his customers to take advantage of Private Cloud technologies, no matter what hypervisor is being used – Hyper-V, VMware or Xen Server.  We talk about how Virtual Machine Manager and Operations Manager can help to deploy and monitor your Private Cloud, how Orchestrator can help automate tasks and allow you to sleep at night, and how Service Manager can help enable self-service provisioning and end-user capabilities.  Take a look at what he had to say.

Don’t forget that you can download the full System Center 2012 suite for evaluation from the TechNet Eval center. Grab it now and try it out in your test environment, and then roll it out in your organization.
