It’s There! Both in a single standalone x86/x86 install ISO and integrated ISO.

It popped up around noon PST or so – I can almost hear the internet pipes buzzing as people Technical Professionals around the world download this anticipated update. What are they most excited about? It has to be Dynamic Memory and Remote FX. I won’t cover their details here – I’ll save that for a couple of posts in the coming days. Let’s just say that if you are interested in doing some VDI in the near future – RemoteFX is something that will be very appealing and when you pair that up with smart Dynamic Memory usage – you’re going to be looking at over 40% server density for clients / server consolidations.

Go get it while it’s hot and deploy it to your test environments. jump over to https://technet.microsoft.com and sign in with your TechNet subscription LiveID to go to the download area. The Akamai Download servers will be more then happy to service your DL request!

While it’s downloading – check out the TechNet Library article talking about Service Pack 1 and all sorts of documentation around the technologies, planning aspects and other resources to help you deploy SP1.
