Windows 7 - Experience From The Field

Welcome to the Windows 7 - Experience from the Field page.  This is your spot to share what hardware and software you are using on Windows 7 as well as any workarounds you may have come up with.  While this is in no way an official endorsement, nor is anything fully supported I thought it would be useful to allow everyone to share their experiences.  If you have content you want to share, leave a comment and we'll add it here ASAP!

You can also keep up with what's happening with Windows 7 via Twitter by following https://twitter.com/cdnwin7 and participte by using the #cdnwin7 hashtag!

Note: Please note that Windows 7 is still in the beta stages and is not supported. It is also safe to say that the vendors listed below are also no supporting Windows 7. The following information is compiled from the experiences of people who have tried it and is not a guarantee that it will work out for you. Please remember to backup your PC before you start and verify that it is good before proceeding. Proceed at your own risk and be sure to contact your doctor before starting an exercise program!

Computers:

Hardware wise the reports from the field show that the majority of Windows Vista drivers work.  There have been a few reported issues of drivers failing install with an error along the lines of "this OS version not supported".  To workaround this you can try setting the compatability mode of the installer to Windows Vista and Run As Administrator.  To do so right-click the executable and select Properties and then switch to the Compatability tab.
