Vista Security

One of the things a lot of people are still concerned with is security.  In fact a recent survey by King Research found that 73% of IT Pros fear losing their jobs over a security breach.  Now there is not one single tool or technology that will make you 100% secure.  I'd go as far as saying there is no such thing as 100% security with the exception of unplugging the computer from the power source.

Within Windows Vista there are a number of brand new, and previously released but now integrated, security features.  I wrote a little while ago about my secure Windows Vista install on my corporate notebook and told you that I'd be delivering the "how-to" in a web cast series.  Well the web cast series is done but I wanted to share the resources with you.

You can find the recordings of the web casts along with the PowerPoints for each session at...

Session 1 - What's New in Vista Security: Webcast and PowerPoint

Session 2 - Managing Vista Security via Group Policy: Webcast and PowerPoint

Session 3 - Managing Advanced Security Features: Webcast and PowerPoint

I also wanted to let you know about a special program we are running.  If you are planning, or have already deployed a secure Vista installation in your corporate environment send me an email.  I'd love to get you into this program which provides you with additional resources, support and much more.
