GTA IT Lounge
I just can't seem to lose the desire to participate in an IT Lounge. Back when I was in Winnipeg I used to go to all of them. Maybe it is the beer, but I think it is the conversations with other IT Professionals of all faiths (aka OS/App distro) that keeps me going back. As we've travelled around if we had time we try to organize an IT Lounge type event in the city we are in. A lot of times after user group meetings we will head to the local pub for a few pints and to carry on the conversation; it is always interesting and always fun.
Because of this I decided to start the GTA IT Lounge Meetup. The plan is to have meetings monthly at different pubs throughout the GTA area. I am organizing these outside the normal Microsoft realm using Meetup.com.
