I am always amazed at how fast Rodney is able to get a post up about a topic!! He reminds me of Hammy the squirrel from one of my kids' favourite movies - Over the Hedge. I think Virtual PC 2007 was out and released for about 17 seconds before Rodney blogged about it!!
For those of you working with SQL Server 2005, you will be glad to know that Service Pack 2 of SQL Server 2005 is officialy released. It was released yesterday so I apologize for the delay, but we can't all be Hammy - I mean Rodney.
SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 includes a number of performance enhancements, as well as fixes to the product, and some new features like:
- Support for Microsoft Office 2007 in SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services
- Multi-server support for Maintenance Plans
- Support for Common Criteria compliance through logon triggers
- SharePoint integration for SQL Server Reporting Services
- Ability to integrate custom reports into SQL Server Management Studio
