Edmonton IS ready!

Congratulations Edmonton, you are the first city in Canada to be ready for a new day as we brought the Vista/Office 2007/Exchange 2007 launch event to the Shaw Center in Edmonton.  It was cold, snowing and blowing but that did not stop almost 1300 IT Pro's, developers, BDM/TDM and interested parties out to witness the largest launch in Microsoft history.  The event was a success and the feedback was positive.  From the Keynote, to the IT Pro and Dev tracks, the Community Zone and the Partner Pavillion everyone enjoyed themselves, learned a few things and had a chance to see what all the fuss is about!  I for one had a great time meeting with IT Pro's from Edmonton and hearing about experiences with the betas and their plans to deploy.  I even saw a few people from Winnipeg, I guess they couldn't wait two weeks for the Winnipeg stop of the launch tour.  In case you haven't registered yet, maybe these pics from Edmonton will help sway you.
