Live Streaming the Future of the Desktop tour Toronto Stop! Awesome!

Wow… here I am in Ottawa (in my home office), connected to one of the three live streams (one in Ontario with ColdFusion, one in BC with RackForce and one in the UK with Internet Technology Products inc) to watch Damir and Bruce put on the Future of the Desktop tour live in Toronto.  To be different, I decided to connect up to the UK stream to test the performance across the pond – so far, the quality is GREAT.

Besides watching the stream and seeing Damir talk about Exchange 2007, I am also working behind the scenes answering questions on the LiveMeeting Q&A page.

We’re testing this out to see if it works well enough to supplement our methods of reaching a larger audience across Canada.  I’ve already heard of a number of customers who are connecting up to the stream and have a board room set aside to allow for a larger internal audience to watch. I have asked them to send me an email / comment to share their experience and how it went.

What do you think? Is this a good way to reach IT Pros across Canada when we can’t get to your city directly on the tour?  Drop me an email with the Ask a Question logo on the left or leave a comment on this post to give us your feedback.
