Been a while...

So it turns out, that this blogging stuff is harder than it looks.  Not only do you have to have something to say, but you also need to take the time to sit down, and actually say it...

So here's my "I'm back" post (translated: quick and easy):

The lineup for TechEd 2006 in Boston has been finalized, and I've got 2 session that I'll be presenting:

  • SRV328 - How Microsoft IT Deployed Active Directory Federation Services
  • Chalk Talk - Microsoft IT - Managing Active Directory

I'm really excited about both of these sessions.  ADFS was new in Windows Server 2003 R2, and from what I've seen adoption has been rather slow.  From the purely technical perspective, it's the first time I've ever had to design and deploy a web based application...

Chalk talks are always exciting.  You never really know how well they are going to go until you get in there, imagine standing in the front of the room where anyone can just lob questions out at you.  It's actually pretty fun to just sit and "talk geek" for a while.

So if you're going to make it to Boston, stop by the IT Showcase booth and say hi, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!
