The New Exchange Reaches RTM

For my many fellow Exchange geek followers, the exciting news of the New Exchange reaching the Release to Manufacturing or RTM means that the development cycle is now complete.  The New Exchange has been kept mainly under wraps until the Microsoft Exchange Conference or MEC which took place the tail end of last month.  With the signoff of the RTM build of Exchange, so begins the march to General Availability or GA of the New Exchange which is anticipated to take place in Q1 of 2013. 

Post the Microsoft Exchange Conference, the Exchange team has had a good bunch of just fantastic blog posts on the New Exchange.  The blog post on the RTM of the New Exchange is a great resource and pointer to these articled.  You can find the post here.

A worthwhile side note to this news is that the RTM took place simultaneously for the New Office, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Project and Visio.  This is indeed a momentous occasion for Microsoft, but more importantly our collective customers.  Stay tuned for more information on this soon.
