BIG EVENT - Come to the NYEXUG on May 11th, 2010 – Exchange 2010 SP1, free door prize to all attendees, and more!

For those of you seeking the latest information on Exchange 2010 and Service Pack 1, come join us at the NY Exchange User’s Group (NYEXUG) on Tuesday May 11th at the Microsoft NYC office in midtown Manhattan.  Yours truly will be doing a deep dive on Exchange 2010 and the upcoming features being added in Service Pack 1 due out later this year.  Hot off the presses, this highly interactive session will cover in detail all of the changes to Exchange 2010 including storage, OWA, archiving, and much, much more.  For a snippet of what’s coming in Exchange 2010 SP1, feel free to check out the Exchange Team Blog post on what’s coming.  Bring your questions and bring a friend!

Most of you know that I was an Exchange Technology Specialist and Unified Communications Technology Specialist in my previous jobs at Microsoft, so this presentation is my semi-annual update to the NYEXUG on where Exchange is going.  In addition, I expect to be introducing my replacement (the person hired to do my old job) to the group who will continue to help host the group with the other folks out of the NYC office that help keep the NYEXUG thriving.

Also, THIS MONTH ONLY, all attendees will receive a free laptop bag as a door prize, courtesy of Michael McCabe and our friends in SMS&P.  I’ll be bringing some additional SWAG myself, so come listen, learn, and go home with free stuff!

For those of you unfamiliar with the NY Exchange User’s Group, the NYEXUG is a 5 year old group that specializes in Microsoft Exchange Server and related Technologies.  It meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Microsoft NYC office on the 6th Floor of 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

We hope to see you there!
