Founded by Vishal Gamji, FoodPunchh is a DC Metro based startup helping restaurants find new customers. FoodPunchh provides businesses with a customer engagement application solution for ordering takeout and delivery food. On the diner side, people using the app can create a personalized network of their favorite restaurants letting them earn points on purchases, which can be redeemed for cash back and other rewards. The goal is to deliver an ordering system that offers simplicity, organization, and expertise. “Our application does everything possible to make your entire eating experience easy and enjoyable. You can place takeout or delivery order within seconds, get access to exclusive customer loyalty programs, utilize FoodPunchh’s highly customizable ordering experience, and gives you access to unique offers and promotions,” Says Gamji.

Ordering with FoodPunchh really is simple. You just order using the mobile app and your order is transmitted to the restaurant in seconds. FoodPunchh’s system confirms the customer’s order with the restaurant, then delivers all parties an order confirmation email.

A BizSpark member, FoodPunchh used Microsoft tools to develop and implement their entire solution, end to end. The company relies on Azure Web Jobs for all of their scheduled services. They also use Virtual Machines for running SSR reports and for billing and invoicing.
