Issue: Unable to play videos from DocAve media Library.

Customer Environment:

· Microsoft SharePoint 2010

· 1 APP/WFE + 1 WFE

· Windows server 2008

· DocAvepoint V5.0

Cause:

SharePoint OOB media web part is not considering DocAve media library as a media assets.

Steps taken to identify the cause:

1. When we click on “From SharePoint” on the web part option and select the DocAve media library as a source, the media web part is not considering that library as a media asset and we are not able to choose the file:

2. If we select “Asset” OOB library we are able to select the video file and the media web part is able to play the file:

Workaround:

The workaround this we need  to select “From Address” and provide the video file of the URL:
