Hello from the BOB Team!!!

Hey Everyone, welcome to our newest adventure...the blog.

For a long while, we have been trying to figure out how to best communicate with y'all regarding all the cool stuff we are doing as well as talking about all the cool new technologies coming from Microsoft.

So who in the heck is BOB and how did we get such a great name?  Well, let's start with the name.  Our official name is the United States System Builder Partner Technology Team, or USSBPTT.  Not a very friendly name, huh?  We decided to come up with something better.  Thus was born BOB.  Now you may be asking why in the world would we name ourselves after one of the best products ever from Microsoft?  We used BOB because it is such a darn friendly sounding name.  We wanted a name that kind of showed who we are.  We are just your nice and helpful techies from Microsoft.  We're your friend.  We're your buddy.  We are here to help you make as much stinking money as you possible can, while trying to save the world at the same time.  We are BOB.  We tried to explain this to our boss, but she wasn't quite into it until we made BOB actually stand for something.  BOB now officially stands for "Builders of Boxes"...pretty snazzy, huh?

Anyway, we are a small team based mainly out of Redmond consisting of Victor Mux (OPK, WHQL, and hardware guru), Bret Rohloff (MCE, 64-bit, and programs expert), Sterling Jones (SBS and Server super-hero), and me, Steve Winfield (undisputed Spider Solitaire champ of North America).  Here is a picture of us (minus Sterling)  .  I will let you guess which one is which...

Anyway, that's enough for now.  Make sure you sign up for the RSS feed to always keep up with the latest...

See ya, Steve
