Antimalware Support für Windows XP bis 14. Juli 2015 verlängert

Gestern wurde im MPC Blog (Malware Prection Center) bekanntgegeben, dass Microsoft die Antimalware Signaturen für die Microsoft Antimalware Produkte bis 14. Juli 2015 bereitstellt, also Signaturupdates liefert. Das gilt für folgende Produkte wenn sie auf Windows XP Systemen installiert sind:

  • System Center Endpoint Protection
  • Forefront Endpoint Protection
  • Forefront Client Security
  • Windows Intune Endpoint Protection
  • Microsoft Security Essentials

WICHTIG!!! Diese Ankündigung bedeutet NICHT, dass der Support für Windows XP, der am 8. April 2014 ausläuft, nochmals verlängert wird!!! Es wird ab diesem Zeitpunkt keine Updates mehr für Windows XP geben, das Betriebssystem wird nicht mehr unterstützt!
