Rasches Update für alle Admins, die letzte Woche noch nicht zum Lesen gekommen sind: Microsoft hat den jüngst entstandenen Bug in Internet Explorer per Windows Update gefixt, und der Fix ist auf allen so versorgten Maschinen hoffentlich schon drauf!

Hier zur Vorgeschichte: Microsoft Security Advisory (979352) - Vulnerability in Internet Explorer Could Allow Remote Code Execution vom 14.1. (sowie viele Blog-Einträge und Kommentare dazu in windowsblog.at und hier).

Und hier der Fix Microsoft Security Bulletin MS10-002 - Critical - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (978207) vom 21.1. (Sehr lustig, dass in der Tabelle der betroffenen Windows-Versionen extra vermerkt ist: Server Core installation not affected. ;-)
