Simple Windows Deployments for Schools

Protecting Your Files, At Rest and In Transit
Given that ordinary documents are one of the largest repositories of an organisation’s secrets, why are most organisations so bad at protecting these files? They apply the wrong file and folder permissions, or fail to encrypt them. The good news is that a host of technologies exist to help you protect files, from NTFS permissions that have been around as long as NT has been, through to Windows Information Protection which debuted in Windows 10. Learn about the combination of technologies that you can use on your existing Windows Network to protect files from being opened by people who are not authorised to do so, whether those files are located on file share, are being emailed over the internet, or are being stored on a FAT32 formatted USB drive. These technologies include EFS, BitLocker, AD and Azure RMS, Dynamic Access Control, Windows Information Protection and Azure Information Protection.
