we have two types of VMware hosts
Dell R710 and R720.package created on R720.Would i need to create two different appv packages one for R710 and R720 2012R2.Adding the office package on R710 2012R2 where the chipset is different, but why only outlook, puzzling.

There only appears to be a 64-bit version of this hotfix. Is there a 32-bit version please?

  5. luc says:

Why is there a reboot which can not be suppressed after unattended installation?

  6. Christian Stuermer says:

We didn’t experience forced reboots AFAIK.
This is how we call the installer:

  7. luc says:

/norestart did the trick. We use powershell for installation. Th ecommand line looks like this: (Start-Process -FilePath "AppV5.0SP2-RDS-KB2963211.exe" -ArgumentList ‘/ACCEPTEULA /CEIPOPTIN=0 /ENABLEPACKAGESCRIPTS=1 /NORESTART /Q’ -PassThru -Wait).ExitCode

Important condition, il you want deploy latest HF for App-V5 SP2, if you have a Policy in your GPO to define Powerhsell execution Policy… App-V client don’t synchronise shortcuts anymore…

Put to undefined this GPO for synchronisation to work again…
