Welcome to the new look and feel!

I am changing the focus of my blog to be about Opalis.  My name is Adam, and the “Magic Octopus” was my idea.

So, what is Opalis?

This acquisition will bring together the deep automation expertise of Opalis with the integrated, physical and virtual datacenter management capabilities of System Center and enable customers to:

  • Automate cross-silo processes and enforce best practices for incident, change, and service lifecycle management.
  • Reduce unanticipated errors and service delivery time by automating tasks across vendor and organization silos.
  • Integrate System Center with non-Microsoft tools to enable interoperability across the datacenter.
  • Orchestrate tasks across systems for consistent, documented, compliant activity.

No doubt this blog will change as the solution evolves, but for now, lets enjoy the adventures of Oh-Pah-Lis, the Magic Octopus!
