Wake me up in San Francisco and take me to Chicago!

" Wake me up in San Francisco and take me to Chicago " is a wishful thinking for the majority of us.

Microsoft Build and Microsoft Ignite are just around the corner, taking place in San Francisco and Chicago. Both conferences have been anticipated by many, where the newest of all the News from Microsoft and product launches are being made publicly.

This year, a hundred of our friends here in Norway are attending Build, while 300 are heading to Chicago for Microsoft Ignite. Significant amount of funds are being spent by companies sending their employees to such conferences like these, and for which reasons?

Obviously, it’s been much of a talk about this:

What can we expect from these two events?

As much fun it is to speculate, I am only allowed to say - Windows 10, Microsoft Azure and Internet of Things among them. Not of much help, I know! One thing is certain, Microsoft is transforming to serve you better.

Our colleagues are flying to the US to gain more insight of what's coming. Let us get excited to learn from them when they return.

For us who are not able to join them in person, we can still stream both events live online.

According to my extremely technical colleague (proud geek) Pedro Dias, the reason why Build has not publicized its agenda is because it is so “geisha” and "classified".

Microsoft Ignite May 4 – May 8

It is also worth noting that certain sessions can also be live streamed. Please find session recommendations from Microsoft Norway executives for Ignite.

Otherwise, we should know the fundamentals around Windows 10 by simply clicking through the tutorials.

Let us hope that this lovely weather we’ve been having lately continues!

* We apologize for those who were not able to purchase their passes due to full capacity on both conferences.
